Where can I buy a replacement wheel for my Heater Deuce Baseball Curveball pitching machine??? There are two wheels inside of the machine. One of them has decided to become flat for no apparent reason. I can't find anywhere to buy a replacement. Help!

tim.almeda replied: "It depends where you live. Try Sports Chalet, they have all kinds of pitching machine replacements or Baseball Country (if there's one in your area). If not, just try online."

kate replied: "Check here: You can find it. Good luck!"

Jugs Curveball pithcing machine feeder? I have a jugs curveball pitching machine and am looking for a feeder. I have seen the $400+ feeders but was wondering if there were any cheaper alternatives. Thanks for looking. Links are appreciated.

I just bought a pitching machine that pitches 100mph for 3500 bucks? I am serious about baseball so saved up for this. I am 14 and if I can learn to hit a 100mph fastball by 16 will I be well on my way to the bigs because right now I am able to hit a 85 mph fastball oh yeah and it does curveballs sliders and sinkers.

I need a quality pitching machine for cheap? I want one that throws curveballs sliders and fastballs and throws at least 80 mph for 500 dollars or less. Plz somebody find one on the web and give me the link

ZACKL10 replied: "It's a machine that throws curveballs, I don't know how fast it throws though but it's the only one under $500 "

How do you train to hit the curveball & the splitter? I don't have access to a pitching machine, and some of the guys in my league have a devastating curve and/or splitter that is tough to hit. I try to work the count all the time looking for that fat pitch, but would be cool if I could hit the other 2 with some consitancy . Any suggestions?

Greg B replied: "The best idea is to get to a batting cage, some have curve ball settings. If that isn't an option, the next best thing is to get a whiffleball and bat and use that. if you can watch the curve of the whiffleball and learn from that, nothing you will see in a real baseball game will be even close. It's like using a donut on your bat to warm up, then taking it off. When you swing without the donut, you can swing faster; When you watch for a curve from a real baseball, it wll be easier"

pat replied: "Its all in the spin. Chances are the splitter has obvious spin you just have to be looking for the spin to see what pitch it is. Then for the curve, read the spin then take if you think its a curve ball. If its not then swing at a strike. The more you read a pitchers spin the better you will hit him. If you read curve ball adjust your swing to the curve and smack a single to the opposite field. That's how Major leaguers do it, and thats how I do it."
